Pace ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Pace mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and handle your information when you use our App.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile information. Authentication is handled securely through Supabase.

2.2 Audio / Microphone Access

• Permission: RECORD_AUDIO
• Purpose: To enable voice calling features through Agora RTC Engine
• Usage: Audio is processed in real-time for peer-to-peer communication and is not stored on our servers

2.3 Location Data

• Permissions: ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
• Purpose: For matchmaking and connecting you with nearby users
• Usage: Location data is used to calculate distance and proximity; we do not store exact location history indefinitely

2.4 Push Notifications

• Permission: POST_NOTIFICATIONS
• Purpose: To send you updates about matches, sessions, and account activity
• Usage: Managed through Firebase Cloud Messaging

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the App's core functionality
• Enable matchmaking and connect you with other users
• Send push notifications and in-app messages
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations
• Prevent fraud and abuse

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service Providers: Third parties who assist in operating the App (e.g., Agora for voice calls, Firebase for notifications, Supabase for authentication)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication through Supabase, and limited access to personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward
• Location Data: Not permanently stored; used only for real-time matchmaking
• Audio Calls: Not recorded or stored

7. Your Rights

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
